    Fictive Ventures' mission to provide initial "first check capital" to Black idea-seed stage founders and to build a community of Black angel investors aligns squarely with Inspire Access's mission to provide funding to underrepresented founders and communities.

    Traction:

    Secured capital from over 30 LPs, built a pipeline of 64 companies, and organized a virtual workshop series for investors covering topics such as angel portfolio construction, QSBS tax planning, Investing in AI, and more.

    Opportunity:
    Chloe Capital Fund II is raising a $50MM fund, with a 10-year lifespan. The fund targets 5x return on investment.

    Mission Alignment:
    Chloe Capital's mission is to propel women-led and diverse-led entrepreneurs. By running accelerator programs outside major tech hubs and investing in diverse-led startups, their work closely aligns with Inspire Access’s mission to mobilize capital for underrepresented founders and support underrepresented communities.

    They've scaled their accelerator to 11 markets, supported over 130 companies, and created over 900 jobs.  

    To date, they've:

    • Deployed $10.5MM across three vehicles (SPVI, SPVII, and Chloe Capital Fund I)

    • Invested in 50 diverse-led startups that have gone on to raise $300MM in follow-on funding. 

    • Generated 6 exits across their portfolio and returned 1.045 MOIC

    • Launched 18 accelerator cohorts across 12 cities.

    • Accepted and supported 130 companies through accelerator programming.  

    • Established relationships with 5,000 co-investors 

    • Developed a pipeline of over 4,500+ startups

    • Grown their ecosystem of founders, partners, investors, and community champions to 50,000.

    Bright Ventures Fund II is investing between $800k and $2MM in pre-seed/seed-stage AI-driven companies, taking an 8%-10% ownership stake. The fund targets a 2.64x TVPI and 4x-7x MOIC for investors.

    Mission Alignment:
    Given that an underrepresented GP leads Bright Ventures and the firm specializes in supporting underrepresented founders, its work aligns with Inspire Access’s mission to provide funding to underrepresented founders and support underrepresented communities.

    Traction:
    Bright Ventures Fund I raised $20MM in 2021 and invested in 18 companies. To date, 75% of portfolio companies have secured follow-on funding, more than 65% have quadrupled revenue, and three have been acquired. In addition, Bright Ventures has provided 10,000 hours of advising and expanded its Constellation network to over 12,000 members.

    Supply Change Capital is raising a $55MM fund ($20MM committed) and targets gross TVPI of 4.8×, a 70%+ loss ratio, and ~50% dilution at exit on all investments.

    Mission Alignment:
    Supply Change Capital’s efforts to create more sustainable, equitable, and efficient food and supply systems by supporting socially responsible, AI-enabled enterprise startups closely align with Inspire Access’s mission to support underserved communities.

    Traction:
    Supply Change Capital Fund I, launched in 2021 with $40MM committed capital, has built a portfolio of 26 companies, with over 80% securing follow-on funding through 14 bridge rounds and 7 priced rounds. To date, the fund has led 7 funding rounds, helped 2 companies scale to $3MM in ARR, and delivered 0.80 TPVI and 0.97 MOIC for investors. Revenue growth for top-performing companies has ranged from 284% to 1,439% since their initial investment.
