Unclaimed Security Contribution Policy

Inspire Access, Inc. ("Inspire Access") is not able to attribute security contributions to a particular Inspire Access Donor Investment Account without notification from a donor or their advisor. Periodically, Inspire Access receives security contributions without notification. In the event that this occurs, the following policy shall be applied.

Initial Holding Period

Unclaimed security contributions will remain unsold until the last business day of the month following receipt of the contribution. For example:

Example 1: An unclaimed security contribution received on December 5 would be sold on January 31 (or the last business day of January if not the 31st).

Example 2: An unclaimed security contribution received on December 30 would be sold on January 31 (or the last business day of January if not the 31st).

During that time, Inspire Access will attempt to identify the source of the donation, including reviewing pending applications and searching for prior donations of the same security to look for indications of who the donor may be.

This waiting period allows time for one monthly investment account cycle to pass for the donor or advisor to identify that the securities have left the donor’s account and notify Inspire Access, in the event that they were transferred in error.

Sale and Subsequent Holding Period

If Inspire Access is unable to identify the source of the donation during this time, then Inspire Access will sell the securities.

Inspire Access will hold the proceeds in a liquid, or easily liquidated, option through the end of the calendar year following the donation. For example:

Example: An unclaimed security contribution received on December 5, 2025 would be held in a liquid or liquid-equivalent option until December 31, 2026.

This waiting period allows time for one tax return cycle to pass for a donor to recognize that they have made a security contribution and did not receive an acknowledgment letter for tax return purposes.

Disposition of Unclaimed Proceeds

After this waiting period passes, the proceeds will be considered undesignated, unrestricted net assets, for use by Inspire Access at its discretion in furtherance of its charitable purposes.
